FULFILLING THE DIVINE MANDATES: 2006 AND BEYOND

INTRODUCTION
God does everything for a purpose; and there is nothing created without a purpose. Man was created for a purpose: to be fruitful and fill the earth, subdue and rule it thereby bringing glory and praise to |God. In the process, he is to silence the enemy Satan permanently, Gen. 1: 28; Psalm 8.
Fulfilling this purpose is the divine mandate for every man or woman, young and old. We should therefore understand it in the magnitude of the physical and spiritual, temporal and eternal realm. We have a duty to pray it through and work on it to fulfilment.

A. WEEK ONE:
WED FEB. 1 – TUE. FEB. 7, 2006. FULFILLING THE DIVINE MANDATE IN THE PHYSICAL AND TEMPORAL REALM. GEN. 1:28, LEV. 26:9-13.

1. DAY 1, WED. FEB. 1 2006: Fulfilling the Physical Divine Mandate of Multiplying.
Since we live in the material world God desires that everyone prospers in material things as well as in the spiritual, - 3 John 3:2., Pray therefore:
· That God will establish and multiply every New Life in the good things He has purposed for man; the marital and family lives, the social, business and academic lives, etc; Gen. 1:28.
· That God will fulfill these purposes through His divine favour on everyone in New Life, Lev. 26:8-10.
· That God will perfect His purposes through establishing His covenants for us in New Life in general and with individuals in particular, Lev. 26:11-13.

2. DAY 2, THUR. FEB. 2, 2006: Fulfilling the physical divine mandate of fruitfulness – Ps. 128:1-6
God has ordained that each creature produce its own kind after; man inclusive. Every man/woman should therefore bear children, except those that choose not to. Therefore pray:
· That God would fulfill His Divine mandate of fruitfulness by blessing the wedded couples and those waiting on the Lord for the fruit of the womb with children this year. - Psa. 128: 1-3, Gen. 15:2-5.
· That God would return the joy of all those looking unto God for more children –
Gen. 22:15-18, Lev. 26:9.
· That all parents due to the grand parents will be blessed this year with grand children according to God’s promise, Psa. 128:4-6, 12-13, 102:28.

3. DAY 3, FRI. FEB 3, 2006: Fulfilling the divine mandate of increasing expansion to greatness Gen. 26:12-24, 22
When God established us in our ordained location we should expand and fill our place until we become a force to be reckoned with.
Pray:
· That God will increase and establish us in our undertakings, Isa. 54:14-15; Psa. 112: 5-9.
· That God perfects His purpose of our increasing expansion unto greatness, till we possess all our possessions, Gen. 26:24-25.
· That God perfects His purpose of establishing our works after us, Ps. 90:17, Isa 45:19.

4. DAY 4, SAT. FEB 4, 2006: Empowered to take dominion over all opposing forces as mandated by God- Gen. 13:14-15, 17, 28: 13-15.
Kingdoms on earth are established by force, and it is the powerful that rule or take dominion. Pray:
· That each one be empowered to take dominion over the kingdoms ahead of us, 2 Sam. 22:34-41, Ezr. 7:28-29: Dan. 11:32b.
· That all the enemies that have settled themselves over our rights and priviledges be rooted out and we take dominion as mandated by God, Num. 31:3-10, Deut 9:1-3; 13:15, I Sam. 15:3.
· That our rule be established over all opposing forces, people in our roots and abode, business and church locations - Jos. 14:12; 19:47.

5. DAY 5, SUN. FEB. 5, 2006: Empowered to rule over evils of darkness, accidents, untimely death, and bad incidents etc.
It is no gainsaying that this world is an abode of wickedness. Every ruler will have to subdue them to have a peaceful reign. Pray therefore:
· That we be empowered afresh by the Holy Spirit to exercise dominion over all powers of the enemy through the gospel, Matt. 16: 15, 18; Lk. 10:19.
· For renewed divine cover over all New Life members in general in the work of the ministries, Ezra, 8:31-32.
· For the divine mark of “touch not my child” which the enemy recognizes to be on us all, - I Chr. 16:20-22, Isa. 54:15-17.

6. DAY 6, MON. FEB. 6, 2006: Divine enablement to be head in all good things
It is God’s purpose for every person to be unique and be recognized as head in his/her calling. Pray therefore:
· For the divine enablement to reach the peak in our professions; chieftain in business. For our students to be first class students and head in their studies - Deut. 28: 1, 13
· To be a voice to recon with in our family and social group, Gen. 49: 8, IChr 5:2
· For all our leaders in this church to be divinely enabled to be fulfilled heads, Also for the NLFAN ministries at National, zonal and area levels. AS well as for the Nation of Nigeria at large, Eph. 6:18-19, ITim. 2:1-3, Ps. 4

7. DAY 7, TUE. FEB. 7, 2006: For the divine presence to be felt through us everywhere and in all things. Lev. 11-13.
God’s presence with a person settles all scores with all oppositions and ensures success all round. Pray therefore:
· That God’s presence with us be manifested in every way that will make all the difference for our family, children and youth; in our older men and women. Gen. 39:1-5; 21-23.
· That the divine presence make us forget our wretchedness, poverty and reproaches, Gen. 41:51-52; Exd. 2:25; Job 39:24-26
· That the divine presence be manifested always in all NLGC assemblies; in our area, zonal and national gatherings (Night Vigils) this year and always, Matt. 18:20; 28:20.

B. WEEK TWO: WED FEB. 8 – TUE. FEB. 14, 2006
FULFILLING THE DIVINE SPIRITUAL MANDATES MATT. 28:19-20, MAK 16:15, LK. 9:1-2.

The spiritual and eternal purposes of a believer’s existence by far supercedes the physical and temporal. It is the spiritual that determines the physical and material fulfilling this purpose therefore becomes more demanding on a believer. More fervent prayers therefore should be made to fulfill the spiritual purposes along these lines.

8. DAY 8, WED, FEB. 8: 2006: Fulfilling my eternal purpose Eph. 1:4-6
God’s eternal purpose is for every man/woman that is born on earth be saved and live eternally with God in this world and in the next. Pray therefore:
· That having received the grace of God unto salvation you might be empowered to please God in all areas of your life, Ps. 69:30-32; Isa. 56:4-7, Rom. 8:6-8.
· To be empowered to live a holy life, Lk. 1:5-6; IThes. 5:23 I Tim. 3:2-4; 2Pet. 3:14
· To live to the praise of His glory all days of our lives till Jesus comes back again, 2Pet. 3:11-12.

9. DAY 9, THUR. FEB. 9, 2006: That we abound in spiritual fruitfulness
A spiritual mandate of man is worship and glorifying God. As light of the world we are to bring others from darkness to light. Pray that we shall be fulfilled:
· In worship, praise and adoration to God at both private and church worship services, Ps. 50:23, IPet. 2:4-5; Heb. 13:5
· In the fruits of righteousness, Phil. 1:11; Gal 5:22-23, Eph. 5:9, Jas. 3:18.
· Bearing fruits of the kingdom in soul winning, Jn. 15:16; Matt. 21: 41-43, Ps. 1:3; 92; 14; 2Tim. 4:1-2.

10. DAY 10, FRI. FEB. 10, 2006: That we make more disciples of Christ of all around us, Matt. 28:19-20, Mk. 16:15
Every Christian should pray earnestly on the spiritual mandate that we may be fulfilled:
· Through spreading the good news of Christ, 2Tim. 4:5, 1-5.
· In labouring that all be saved and come to the knowledge of Christ Jesus.
· Through showing personal examples of Christ Jesus ICor. 11:1, Eph. 5:1-2, IThes. 2:11-12.
· Through involvement in intercessions and personal contacts, Gal. 4:19-20; Col. 1:1-12.

11. DAY 11, SAT. FEB. 11, 2006: That I may fulfil my ministry calling.
Every one should be concerned and earnestly pray that while he/she has prayers are answered on temporal mandate, we should:
· Make a good use of gifts and talents, Matt. 25:14-18; 29-30
· Stir up and make maximum use of talents and gifts, 2 Tim. 1: 6-9
· Fulfil the ministry calling, Col. 4:17
· Pray that this church may fulfil the ministry committed to her in this community, town or city.
· That the arms of NLFAN ministries, vision and operation (Mission Institute Training Department, Ministerial Board): Mission and Outreaches (Men, Women, Youths Missions, Crusade Outreaches) Admin and finance (Church overseers, finance, Youths, Children and Publication Departments) will fulfil all their ministries to all nations of the world before the Lord Jesus Christ returns.

12. DAY 12, SUN. FEB. 12, 2006: That I, with the church may be fulfilled in the demonstration of God’s deposit of the resurrection power. Eph. 1:17-20.
Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Apostles have done their part leaving us with this mandate to carry on:
· In preaching the gospel, to bring souls to repentance and salvation in Christ; to heal the sick, deliver the captives, raise the dead, etc. Lef. 4:18-19.
· That in each New Life Gospel Church, at our quarterly night vigils, zonal, national crusades this year, there shall be great demonstrations of the power of resurrection.
· For a mighty outpouring of the Holy Sprit for repentance, salvation, healing, deliverance and miracles in the April 2006 Ogbomoso National Crusade.

13. DAY 13, MON. FE. 13, 2006: That I may manifest God’s glory through walking in the spirit.
It is only the man/woman of the spirit that can accomplish spiritual mandate, Pray therefore:
· That you may add to and abound more in bearing the fruit of the Spirit, until God’s glory is fully manifested - 2Pet. 1:5-8, Gal. 5:22-25.
· That the fullness of Christ be magnified in you in this life, Acts. 4:11-13; Phil. 1:20; Acts 8:4-8.
· That you may speak the wisdom and mysteries of God by the revelations of the Holy Spirit, ICor. 2:4-10; 14 b: 3, 24-25.

14. DAY 14, TUE, FEB. 14, 2006:
That I with the Church will promote and proclaim the kingdom of God and the second coming of Jesus Christ – Isa. 60:1-3.
As Christian we should be mindful that Jesus Christ may come back any time, any day. Pray therefore.
· To be among the wise who win souls and shine, Prov. 11:30, Jas. 5:19-20
· Among the blessed who keep watching, washed white and made ready for the Lord’s return. - Matt. 25: 4, 10, 13, Rev. 16:15
· Kept holy, blameless and spotless; abiding in Christ with confidence till the second coming of Christ - IThess. 5:23, I Tim; I Jn. 2:28.

C. WEEK THREE: WED. FEB. 15 – TUE FEB. 21, 2006:
DIVINE CONNECTIONS FOR FULFILLED MANDATES: SPRING BOARD FROM FULFILLED PERSONS IN THE HOLY SCRIPTURES.
The moment every true believer surrendered to Christ’s Lordship he/she is fixed in God’s plan to become something for God on earth: i.e in t he church the family and the society. Discover your own mandates and get them fulfilled using the spring boards of these personalities

15 DAY 15, WED. FEB. 15 2006: Divine connection through dream: Joseph’s springboard Gen. 37: 1-11, 19-28.
The dream mandate:
Joseph was divinely connected through a dream, a mental picture and guide for the future life he must live
· Pray that God should give us a guide to the life we must live: that God should deliver us from persecutors of dreams and that all they may do will uplift us to the fulfillment of our dream, Gen. 41:39-43; at the end we may be renamed as achiever, Gen. 41:45.
· Pray for all those who are undergoing persecutions, sufferings because of their visions, dreams or mandate, that as the Lord God was with Joseph, God should show His mercy and favour, and that all what their persecutors do will result to their favour. Exd. 31:21; 11: 3; 14: 17; Ps. 106: 46; Prov. 16:17.
· Pray that God grant unto us this year a change of experience above those who persecute us like Joseph. We may rename our results “Manasseh” and Ephraim”, Gen. 41: 51-52.

16 DAY 16, THUR. FEB 16, 2006: Divine connection through confession and confidence in God: - Joshua and Caleb Springboard, Num.13:25-30; Jos.14:10-12
Faith confession and boldness:
The divine connection of Joshua and Caleb through their faith and boldness in what God has said made them the only two adults among those who left Egypt that got to the promise land.
- Pray that as we have laboured and worked to the time and year of our fulfillment, may those things in us that terrify us and what we confess not bar us from fulfilling our mandate at the appointed time, Num.13:27-33; 14:26-34.
- Pray that by a divine connection between us and God, we may fully follow you this year and always; by this we reach the fulfillment of our goals, Jos.14:6-11
- Pray that God will strengthen our confidence and hope in God through unbroken divine connection which will cause God to look down on us with mercy that will make us capture our land of promise this year, Deut.1:38-39; Ps.60:10-12

17 DAY 17, FRI. FEB. 17, 2006: Divine location, connection and upliftment for fulfillment: - David’s springboard, 1Sam.16:1-13
Fetched out by God’s Messenger.
When there exists a divine mandate between God and a person, fulfilment does not depend on where he/she lives and age or status does not matter much. What matters most is the divine connection. The divine messenger will connect such for fulfilment at the appropriate time.
- Pray that God’s messenger fetch you out and bring you to the state and place where you can fulfil your divine mandate. David was irrelevant in Jesse’s family and wrongly located in the wilderness but, God’s messengers found him and relocated him to the throne, 1Sam.16:11-13; 2Sam.2:4; 5:1-3.
- Lord, where circumstances, some forces and family position has located me that is not your place for me, through your divine connection, Lord, discover and fetch me out this year and relocate me to the position of fulfilment, 2 Sam.2:1-4
- Lord, we have spent long time in the wrong location/position as New Life Gospel Church, NLFANM and as individuals. As you brought promotion to David from shepherd of goats and sheep to be king and shepherd of people, so may we experience promotion from our low estates to the higher ground this year, Amen.

18 DAY 18, SAT. FEB. 18, 2006: Divine change of vocation and mission with divine tools for fulfilment: - Jeremiah’s springboard, Jer.1:4-19
Discovery of divine mandate.
One common truth with many is that they are ignorant of their divine mandate. They do not know why they are in this world and what He has sent them to accomplish in life. Such need a divine connection for a discovery of purpose and mandate. Jeremiah was doing another thing different from what God expected of him. God visited him to recall him from the wrong priority to the divine one, Jer.1:5-9.
- Pray that the years and days spent on the wrong trade, business, course of study or mission be over. Before it is too late, God, direct my path and lead me to what you have sent me into this world to accomplish. Pray that you will no more remain in the task God has not sent you.
- God, let there be this year a divine touch of individuals for divine connection. Let there be the provision of necessary tools as you did to Jeremiah, especially in the ministries of New Life. That God should provide the spiritual tools, financial tools, personnel tools etc. for a fulfilled ministry this year and henceforth.
- Jeremiah needed to pull down some structure and another be put in place before he could fulfil his mandate,. Lord help us identify these structures that stand erect in our lives that needed to be pulled down e.g. every structure of sin, lusts, love of money, fame, women, love of fashion and things of this present world. At the same time all that is needed to be in place for me to be fulfilled, help me to build them; such as a life of commitment, faithfulness, holy living, heaven consciousness etc.

19 DAY 19, SUN, FEB. 19, 2006: Divine connection making all impossibilities possible: - Daniel’s springboard. Dan.2:1-49
Making impossible mandate possible through revelation.
In the Bible, people have always faced humanly impossible tasks. When God comes in, all impossibilities are always made possible through divine connections. Such was the case with Daniel and the three Hebrew brothers; who cheated death even when sentenced alongside with other wise men of Babylon; but they overcame through divine connection.
- Pray that every seemingly impossible task that has given us sleepless nights, the God of all impossibilities accomplished them this year. May we overcome all impossible situations this year, Dan.2:4-13
- Pray that we be promoted and uplifted through divine connection out of our difficult encounters in our business, education, ministry etc, and in the end that God be glorified, -Dan.2:13-19; 47-49
- Pray that we may be divinely connected for promotion to a place of honour even when majority are being enslaved. In any situation we may be in Nigeria, that this year, the Lord will uplift and promote us to a place of honour, respect and dignity - Dan.5:1-31

20 DAY 20, MON. FEB. 20, 2006: Divine connection for a changed focus and mission: Springboard from Paul the Apostle Acts.9:1-20
Divine interception for fulfilled divine mandate.
When a person is divinely connected, his focus and pursuit will change. Paul was a man going about persecuting Christians. He was intercepted by God and had a changed focus and mission. He was ushered in to a new experience of fruitfulness and fulfilment of his divine mandate.
- Pray that God will not allow you to pursue that which will not be beneficial, but rather that which will make you a good vessel of God. That God will fill you with power and strengthen you for service, Acts.9:19-20.
- Pray that God give you a divine connection that will lead you to a new experience of being mightily used by God; That which has not been happening before like special miracles, start to take place - Acts.19:11-12.
- Lord, cause us to make impacts in today’s world evangelization as you caused Paul to have impact in his world. May we not be guilty of slothfulness in our days, Acts.26:15-19.

21 DAY 21, TUE FEB.21, 2006: Divine connection as Man manifesting God’s Glory: - Springboard of the Lord Jesus Christ, Jn.17:20-24
As mortal yet fulfilling God’s purpose in full.
When a person is divinely connected, such will be a radiating God’s glory. God gave our Lord Jesus Christ the divine connection to manifest His glory while in the human body.
- Lord, this year, give me a divine connection to manifest God’s glory through which all those things which seem dead will come back to live, Jn.11:40
- Lord, this year, make is possible for me to seek after Your will always, and to do it, Jn.5:40, 6:38. Let your will be essential things to me like air, water and food; that I will not have a rest of mind until I do it, Jn.4:34.
- As Jesus Christ was divinely connected so that all creatures obey Him, Lord grant me dominion over situations and circumstances that as I bind, lose and cast out, it will be so, Amen.

D. WEEK FOUR: WALKING IN DOMINION ALL DAYS OF OUR LIVES, Gen.1:26, 9:2, Ps.8:4-6.
Part of creature plan is that man should rule, reign and have dominion in life over all creations. Sin disrupted this rule many times, but God restored it many times over. Finally through Jesus Christ, man is able to rule in all things in this world until our Lord Jesus establishes the millennium reign on the earth.
22 DAY 22, WED FEB.22, 2006: Reigning in the power of His righteousness, Isa.32:1-4; Rom.5:7.
- Pray that by the power of the righteousness of God in us, as we witness Christ to others, we might convict sinners of sin, bring them to repentance and salvation in Jesus Christ, Matt.3:1-6; Acts.3:11-13, 19.
- Pray that through Jesus in us, others around will come to trust in the refuge, shelter, protection, blessings and provisions that salvation in Jesus Christ affords, Isa.33:1-4, Acts.11:22-24.
- Pray that by Jesus in us the captives will be freed; the sick healed, oppressed delivered and manifold gifts of God overflow to all people this year, Isa.61:1-3

23 DAY 23, THUR. FEB, 23 2006: Fulfilled in the Physical material realm through God’s abiding presence.
If God rules in the affairs of a person he/she will have unchallenged dominion, Pray:
- To rule and reign over wants, lacks, dangers, hindrances to achieving our exaltation and promotion to the top we are destined to reach. Through God’s abiding presence, like the three Hebrew brothers, in spite of fire, water or trials and threatening from the enemy, Dan.3:19-25, 30, Isa.43:3, we will reign.
- To be lifted up by the Holy Spirit above the ancestral, family, territorial curses; that we might destroy, neutralize and completely remove them, ruling over them through the blood of Jesus, Gal.3:13, Rev.12:11

24 DAY 24, FRI. FEB 24, 2006: Continual exercising of dominion over principalities and powers, Eph.1:19-20.
- That we be strengthened, always standing as winners in spiritual warfare, Eph.6:10-12
- That our dominion over satan, demons and the hosts of evil force be established to bring glory to God, Ps.19:8-13; Lk.10:17-19; Acts.19:11-15.
- That the understanding of every believer in this church be opened by the revelation of the Holy Spirit, to live a life of dominion through the manifestation of God’s mighty power in us, Eph.1:18-21.

25 DAY 25, SAT. FEB 25, 2006: That we might live always as overcomers through Christ Jesus.
- That we might live as overcomers over earthly fears ( the fear of heights, fear of space, fear of darkness, fear of water, etc) 2 Tim.1:7, Isa.12:2, Gal.2:12
- Overcomers over cowardice that debar us from taking the steps of progress and of faith, Num.13:27-30; 1 Sam.17:24, 34-37; Matt.26:56.
- That we might overcome all those temptation that may come our ways this year, Jer.35:5-6; Dan.1:8; Jas.1:12-15

26 DAY 26, SUN. FEB 26, 2006: That we might exercise dominion over the flesh and fleshly desires.
- That we might have dominion over the desires of the flesh thereby bringing glory, fame and honour to God, Lk.4:3-14, Gal.5:24
- That we will live a crucified life becoming of a disciple of Christ, Matt.16:24, Lk.14:26-27; Rom.8:13
- That by faith, we might subdue the flesh and live in the Spirit, Matt.5:29; Rom.6:6; 13:14; Col.3:5; 1 Pet.2:11.

27 DAY 27, MON. FEB 27, 2006: That we might walk in the Spirit daily as King, Acts.10:19-21.
- Pray that each of us will be set free from the bondage of the flesh through walking in the Spirit every moment of our lives, Gal.5:16-18
- That individual Christian learn the secret of walking by faith and not by sight, 2Cor.5:7; Heb.11:5-6
- That individual Christian walk in Christ-likeness all day, 1 Jn.2:6; 2 Cor.5:9-10; Jn.8:29; 1 Ths.4:1

28 DAY 28, TUE. FEB 28, 2006: That we might abide in daily community with God to maintain our Dominion always.
- That we might meditate in the word daily for fresh instructions that carry divine authorities, Jos.1:8; Ps.1:1; 39:3; 119:148; 1 Tim.4:15.
- That we might commune with God in prayer for fresh anointing that confirm authorities, Ps.5:3; 55:17; 63:6; 119:147; Mk.1:32-35
- That we might live in daily watchfulness, consecration and holy living that make a believer worthy for Jesus second coming, Ps.4:4; Lk.12:37; Rev.16:15.
